Kim Gill and I (Nicole Kali) are long-time historians and journalists in multimedia fields. Personally it has evolved since 16 from showcasing local bands with Black members.
2024 seemed like both perfect space and time, where marginalized rockers aren't pushed further into obscurity, when the Diaspora finally gets their due. Maybe we create the right conditions ourselves.
